Who is Odd Otter?
The Odd Otter is a creature of collection- she loves hoarding shiny, numbered "rocks" of all sorts of colors and shapes. More importantly, she loves to play games with them. Odd Otter finds her home by the water. She loves to frolic on the sandy shores and watch the waves, but she can't swim very well. She makes her own adventures, traveling about and exploring the land, hoping to one day complete her quest of sharing her special "rocks" with the world.
Okay, but who REALLY is Odd Otter?
My name is Jess and I run Odd Otter Treasures. I started playing Dungeons & Dragons in 2023 off and on in groups that didn't really hold. In January 2025, I started playing with my current group as a new member of their pre-established party, and helped them finish off a five-year long campaign. We're still going strong.
I'm a bit of a hobby jumper- any new craft or hobby that helps me stay creative is something I'm bound to pick up. I've made plushies, cosplays, jewelry, scrapbooks, you name it. But making resin dice is something that has really clicked with me. I love getting to make dice that help tell a story. I get to share this hobby with other D&D players, and meet other creators in the community and be inspired by them. I plan on incorporating some of my other crafts and hobbies into Odd Otter Treasures down the road, but the dice will always remain at the core of it all.
